1.Lasher Learning Center — This secret nook located in Scripps is less crowded than the library. The smell of mahogany and many leather-bound books make for the perfect studying atmosphere.
2.College Green — Hike over to College Green, spread a blanket and crack open your books. As long as a passersby don’t easily distract you, this scenic spot will help your studying.
3. The 5th floor of the library — While all the other floors are overcrowded with sweaty, anxious students, this forgotten floor houses only the most studious pupils. The study area is quiet and much less distracting than the comings and goings on the second and fourth floors.
4. Baker University Center — Baker Center is good for students who can concentrate on their studies and not watch people ride the escalators. A plus is when you are tired of studying you can take a food break and eat some piping hot curly fries.
5. South Beach — Pack up your books, lounge chair and virgin margaritas and set up camp on South Beach. This spacious area allows you to separate yourself and really concentrate on your studying. After studying you can get into spring break mode and pretend you’re on a beach in Mexico being fed grapes by well-oiled cabana boys.
