An Athens chiropractor investigated in March for using “vibrational manipulations” to cure back pain in patients — without touching them or meeting them in person — permanently surrendered his chiropractic license Thursday.
James Burda claimed he could use his mind to adjust most joints and bones in the body and advertised the technique, “bahlaqeem,” on his Web site for $60 per treatment.
The Ohio State Chiropractic Board is finished with its case against Burda, said Executive Director Kelly Caudill.
