Call the authorities! The evil empire that is FOX News is came to Athens — again — in the form of its president, Roger Ailes. Although Ailes comes here to donate a large amount of money to his alma mater, there are still many people, like Kevin Zieber in Friday’s Post, who are upset at such an action. In the past, liberals such as Michael Moore, Jesse Jackson and Al Franken have came to campus without a problem, but an alumnus who wants to come to campus to donate money to improve the school? Just send the check please. I'd like to ask Zieber one question: Have you ever been in the RTV studios? As much as I’ve enjoyed the 1960s technology for that past four years, it’s time for an upgrade. Perhaps we should refuse the donation just because Ailes works for FOX. As usual, just uttering the name FOX News induces panic among students. The TCOM school has done well indoctrinating its students to fear and hate FOX News in its courses; however, they’ll happily take Ailes’ money. However, professors will always hold a grudge and complain about the source of the donation as they teach in their new upgraded, multi-million dollar studios.
It's not a political or 'FOX News' issue. Neither FOX nor Ailes need to be apologetic about anything.

Baloney. The phrase "a deal with the devil" came about for a reason. Accepting money to teach ethical journalism from unethical practitioners creates a problem.
Gee, I wonder why Ohio higher education funding dried up over the past decade? Hmm....could it have been the Republican majority in the state legislature? The same kind of GOP majority that Roger Ailes devoted his life to and earned his fortune from?
